Gridlock is a strategy game designed for those who love card and board games. You play in teams (1, 2, or 3 members). The game is perfect for traveling on vacation or holding a Game Night at your home. Our special design carrying bag allows easy carrying for travel.
You can even order personalized labels to make your own custom game, using your favorite pictures (weddings, babies, pets, children, cruise ships, military, sports teams, and even selfies).
Game Play: The objective is to place your chips on the game board that coincide with the card that has been played, until one of the teams achieve placing 5 of their chips in a row, 3 times (5 chips in a row, you turn chips over, becomes a run or “gridlocked”), and become the winners for the round or match. Teams decide how many matches will be played. Tournament play is typically three matches.
Background:The Gridlock Game was developed by Steve Curtis, a seasoned game inventor. It was based on an old board game called “One-Eyed Jack” or “3X5”. played across the USA and Canada for over 50 years. Several of the rules have been changed, to make this popular game even more exciting. The playing board and cards were redesigned to make it easier to play.
